PERSONAL PROFILE ON DR. BAMIDELE JOSEPH ADEKUNLE
Dr. J. A. Bamidele is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Public Administration, Faculty of Management and Social Sciences, National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Abuja. He obtained his first degree in Public Administration from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria in 1987, MPA at the University of Ilorin, M.Sc and Ph.D in Public Administration from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. He was formerly a lecturer at the Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin and the Federal University Gashua, Yobe State, where he attained the rank of a Senior Lecturer. His area of specialization is on Governance and Security. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Local Government and Public Administration of Nigeria. He is also a member of the Association of Nigeria Public Administrators. Dr. Bamidele is currently the Centre Director, National Open University, Iloffa Community Study Centre, Kwara State. He is actively involved in Course Facilitation, Production of Instructional Videos and Supervision of student projects. He has published over twenty-five (25) articles in peer-reviewed Journals including Scopus which can be accessed online through Google Scholar. He has also attended and presented papers in both local and international conferences and he has chapter contributions in text books.
