Career Profile

Owoniya Kemisola Iwalola is a Nigerian academic, researcher, and public administration scholar whose work spans the interdisciplinary fields of Public Administration, E-Governance, Public Policy, Strategic Urban Development, Organizational Psychology, Peace and Conflict Studies, Gender and Development Studies, Healthcare Administration, and Sustainable Development. She currently serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Public Administration, Faculty of Management Sciences, National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Abuja, where she is actively involved in teaching, research, student mentorship, and community engagement.She holds an M.Sc. in Public Administration from the National Open University of Nigeria, a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Administration, and Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology from the University of Ibadan and Obafemi Awolowo University. Demonstrating a strong commitment to advanced scholarship, she is currently pursuing a PhD in Public Administration at NOUN.

Her research agenda focuses on governance innovation, digital transformation, public service reforms, urban sustainability, gender empowerment, healthcare management, conflict resolution, migration governance, and sustainable development. Through her interdisciplinary perspective, she seeks to generate evidence-based solutions to contemporary governance and development challenges facing Nigeria and other developing societies.
