  1. Masters in Public Administration (MPA)

Philosophy

The Philosophy of the MPA is to broaden and deepen the intellectual exposure of the students in core public administration courses so as to develop  their capability to analyze and apply the skills and knowledge acquired during training in solving administrative problems in the public and private sectors.

Objectives

The MPA Programme is to develop the students ‘expertise in the functional areas of Public Administration so that they advance the frontiers of Public

 Administration theory and practice and enhance the contribution that the public Administration could make to nation building.

 

Course Structure

The MPA programme requires a minimum of 36 credit units made up as follows:

  • Nine core courses                                                                                    26 units
  • Two elective courses (2 credits each)                                              4 units
